TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MARCH 7, 1984 Robert Maze, 53, 2421 N St. Bedford, died at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the residence. He had been ill six years. He was born in Avoca May 10, 1930 to Lawrence Sr. and Minnie Simmerman Maze. He married Norma R. Taylor Nov. 1, 1952, and she survives. He retired from Crane Naval Weapons Support Center, was a member of Bedford Lodge 14, F & AM, Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving with the wife and the mother of R. 12, Bedford, are one son, Robert Kent Maze, Franklin; one Grandson; three brothers, Lawrence Jr., Oolitic; Dallas, Owensburg and Jim, Rockville. Md.; three sisters, Mrs. Max (Mary) Jackson, R. 12, Bedford. Mrs. William (Beulah) Thompson, Hobart, and Mrs. Dale (Delores) Rainey, Williams. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, The Rev. Merla Craig officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens with graveside military rites by members of Gillen Post 33, American Legion. Friends may call at the funeral home after l0 a.m. Thursday. Masonic rites will be given at the mortuary at 7 p.m. Thursday.
