TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, JUNE 26, 1989 BLOOMINGTON - Alonzo Freeman, 86, of Bloomington, died Sunday morning at Bloomington Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1903, in Greene County, he was the son of Joseph and Della (Gardner) Freeman. He was a retired farmer. Survivors Include his wife: Adah Marie (Evans) Freeman; two daughters: Henrietta Carrell, Columbus, Ohio, and Joy Perry, Bloomington; three sons: Robert Freeman, Alonzo Freeman Jr., and Charles Freeman, all of Bloomington; one brother: Leo Freeman of Bloomington; one half-brother, Roy Bailey, Bloomington 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons: Vestal Freeman and James Freeman; two sisters, Maudeline Faris and Lois Bruce; one brother, Ellsworth Freeman, one half-brother, Guy Freeman, and two half-sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Allen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Paul Nichols and Bro. Gene Carrell officiating. Burial will be in Christian Cemetery at Springville. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. until services Tuesday.
