TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, SEPT. 4, 1979 MAE PERSINGER Mrs. Mae Persinger, 72, Medora, died Monday at 4:38 a.m. in the Bedford Medical Center after an illness of several months. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hague Funeral Home, Medora, with the Rev. M. Walls of the Pentecostal Church officiating. Burial will be in White River Valley Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Hague Funeral Home. The family requests that all memorials be made to the cancer fund. Born Nov. 8, 1906, in Medora, to Thornton M. and Laura Blackwood Watts, she married Orval S. Persinger on Nov. 22, 1924, and he survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Dorothy) Gardner, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Raymond (Carlene) Abner, Medora; one son, Terry, Medora; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Lee Lowther, Phoenix, Ariz. Four brothers preceded her in death. She was a member of the Medora Pentecostal Church.
