TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WED., SEPT. 5, 1979 EDWARD R. HENRY Edward R. Henry, 70, Shoals, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jasper Memorial Hospital. He had been ill three years. Born Dec. 25, 1908 in Martin County to William C. and Nora Hovis Henry, he married Mildred M. Connell Oct. 28, 1931, and she survives. Also surviving are one son, Dan Henry of Evansville; two grandchildren; one brother, Orville Henry, Knoxville, Ill., and one sister, Mrs. Jacob (Cora) Hartman, Bedford. Retired from The Shoals News, he attended the United Methodist Friendship Church, was a member of Shoals American Legion Post No. 61, and a member of Shoals Eagles Lodge NO. 2442. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Queen-Lee Funeral Home, Shoals, with burial in Hickory Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Camden Wolf and the Rev. Lloyd Butler will officiate. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.
