BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, MAY 15, 1934 DEATH COMES TO BLOSSIE STORM Funeral Services Thursday At 2 O'clock From Popcorn Christian Church Mrs. Blossie Storm, who had been in ill health for many years, passed away this morning at 7:45 o'clock at the Dunn Hospital. Blossie Deckard was born in Monroe County, Indiana, to Michael and Catherine Helton Deckard November 28, 1871 and at her passing was 62 years, 5 months and 17 days of age. She was married U. S. Storm in her early womanhood and they lived in the Popcorn, Lawrence county neighborhood, until his death October 23, 1928. since that time Mrs. Storm had made her home with a nephew Michael Freeman, Springville and niece Mrs. John McPike at Judah. She was survived by the niece and two nephews, Michael Freeman of Springville and Lummie Freeman of Indianapolis. She was a devout member of the Popcorn Christian Church and was highly respected in her home community. The remains were taken to the Emerson-Thurman Funeral Home for burial preparation where they will lie in state until the funeral hour. The funeral services will take place at Popcorn Christian Church, Thursday at 2 p.m., followed by burial in the Lowder Cemetery. Rev. Logan Hatfield will be in charge of the services.
