TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 1975 Lula M. Miller, 77, 520 R St., died at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She had been ill several months. Mrs. Miller, a native of Lawrence County, was born Aug. 24, 1898, to Chris and Rose Southern Meadows. She was married Oct. 16, 1916, to Arthur Lewis, who died Dec. 26, 1947. She then married Odes M. Miller, Oct. 16, 1958. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Bedford and the church W. M. S. Survivors include the husband; one son, Robert Dale Lewis, R. 4; two daughters, Mrs. Noah (Juanita) Henschen of Bedford and Mrs. Charles M. (Loretta) Canada of R. 1; one step-son, Kenneth Miller of R. 4, and one step daughter, Mrs. Russell (Marceal) Miller of Bedford. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Acie (Chloe) Deckard of Bedford, Mrs. Helen Lanam of Bloomington and Mrs. Ralph (Ruth) Young of Knoxville, Tenn.; five brothers, Clarence Meadows and Morrell Meadows, both of Bedford and Floyd Meadows, Delbert Meadows and Harold Meadows; all of Bloomington six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am. Friday at the Free Methodist Church with the Rev. Charles Chestnut officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery under the direction of the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Friends may call after 6:00 p.m. today at Ferguson-Lee and for one-half hour before services at the church.
