BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, MARCH 8, 1934 CONDUCT RITES FOR JOHN RUSH Services Conducted Wednesday Afternoon From Popcorn Christian Church. Funeral services for John C. Rush, one of the most prominent farmers of the Popcorn neighborhood, who passed away Monday afternoon at his home, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Popcorn Christian Church. They were largely attended by relatives and friends. Rev. Logan Hatfield, of Owensburg, impressively conducted the services. Mr. and Mrs. Rolla Holmes and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Wilson sang "Jesus, Savior Pilot Me" "Jesus Will" and "My Father Knows It All" The flowers were in charge of Clarice Chestnut and Laura Rush, nieces of the deceased. The Pall bearers were Kent, Wayne, Dallas and Frank Rush, Ivan Rainbolt, Frank Gardner, nephews. Burial was made in Lowder Cemetery.
