TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA DIED: APRIL 10, 1959 HARDWICK RITES SET Mrs. Kathleen L. Hardwick of Springville R. R. 2, died at 10:30 o'clock Friday night at Dunn Memorial Hospital where she was admitted April 2. She was 39 years of age. Mrs. Hardwick had been ill for the past year. A native of Lawrence county, she was born March 20, 1920, the daughter of John and Ethel Henderson King. She married Manuel Hardwick February 29, 1936. Surviving are the husband; three sons, Dencil Muriel Hardwick , Vestal Butch Hardwick, and Wilford Dale Hardwick, all at home; a daughter, Carolyn Sue Hardwick at home; the father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. John King of Oolitic, and two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Perry of Henryville, Ind., and Mrs. Veneta Pickens of Orleans. A son passed away in infancy and a sister and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Hardwick was a member of the Trinity Pentecost Church at Springville where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday with Rev. Ray Snow and Rev. Earl Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford after 6:00 p.m. today. APRIL 13, 1959 Hardwick Rites Largely Attended Final rites for Kathleen L. Hardwick, Springville, R. R. 2, were held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Springville Pentecost Church, with Rev. Ray Snow and Rev. Earl Anderson officiating. Mrs. Hardwick died at Dunn Memorial Hospital at 10:30 p.m. Friday. The songs Home Sweet Home, Safe In The Arms of Jesus and Under His Wing were sung during the services by Marie Flynn, Bernice Godsey and Carol Baker, accompanied by pianist Donald Bridges. In charge of flowers were Linda McArtor, Carolyn McArtor, Mary Jane Strunk, Sondra Strunk, Cherlyn Flynn, Carolyn Flynn, Patty Godsey, Betty Childers, Pat Reuter, Jean Evans, Linda King, Brenda King and Janice Perry. Pallbearers were Rex Rollins, Romar Reuter, Hobert Godsey, Chester Anderson, Robert Thompson and Alva Wagner. The services were largely attended.
