DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 1979 Emma Ferguson Wagner Sears, 88, R.1, Springville, died Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Bloomington Convalescent Center A native of Lawrence County, she was born March 31, 1891 in Springville to Homer and Mary Ferguson. She was a retired school teacher in Lawrence County, she taught 20 years, served as the Republican's county vice chairman, had been the manager of the license branch and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Surviving are several nieces and nephews Including Stephen L. Ferguson of Bloomington. Two sisters Pearl Armstrong, Alma Ferguson, and two brothers, Orth and Luther Ferguson, preceded her in death.. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Day Funeral. Home in Bloomington where friends may call from 5 until 9 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will be at the Springville Christian Cemetery at noon Thursday. The Rev. Merla Craig will be minister.
