TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 1979 Pearl Ferguson Armstrong, 100, of Bloomington, died at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Hospitality House, Bloomington. Born April 17,1878, in Lawrence County to Homer B. and Mary Mayfield Ferguson, she was a 90 year member of the First Christian Church of Bloomington. She married Quince Armstrong on Dec. 5, 1900. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Marjorie) Barrow, Bloomington; one son, Homer W. Armstrong, Golf Breeze, Fla.; one sister, Emma Ferguson Sears, Bloomington; three grandsons and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quince, who died in 1959, and an infant son; one sister, Alma Ferguson, and by two brothers, Luther and Orth Ferguson. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Day Mortuary, Bloomington, with the Rev. Terry Ewing officiating. Burial will be in the Christian Cemetery at Springville. Friends may call at Day Mortuary from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday.
