DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, MARCH 14, 1960 FRANK MILLER SUCCUMBS Frank D. Miller, 74-year-old resident of 707 Lafayette street, Oolitic, passed away at 3:30 A.M. today at the Dunn Memorial Hospital, where he had entered four days ago. Mr. Miller retired from the shipping department at the P. M. & B. Quarry in 1953. He had been in failing health for three years and seriously ill since November 1959. Born January 15, 1886 in Dallas, Texas, he was the son of William Elias and Florence Stewart Miller. He was married to Ethel Patton on April 23, 1919. Survivors include the wife; one son, Robert M. Miller of Oolitic; one daughter, Mrs. Alma Copeland of Jefferson City, Mo.; one grandson, Dennis Gene Miller; two brothers -- David H. Miller of Oolitic and Charles W. Miller of Bedford; and one sister, Bervia Archer of Orleans R. R. 3. Two sisters, Mary and Allie Lee, preceded him in death, in addition to one brother, William Miller. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oolitic, the Quarry workers Union and a former member of the Redmans Lodge. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with Rev. Robert Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memorial Park. Friends may call after 6:00 P.M. today at the Day & Carter Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
