DAILY TIMES-MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SATURDAY, MAY 2, 1959 MRS. MATTIE JONES DIES Mrs. Mattie Jones, 91-year-old resident of Bedford R. R. 2, died at 10:25 o'clock last night at the Sunny Acres Nursing Home where she had been a patient since February 15. She was born April 29, 1868, in Lawrence County, the daughter of George and Susan Tumey Pace. She married Dan Jones February 28, 1915, in Bedford, and he preceded her in death January 9, 1952. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones was the last of a family of six children. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Fayetteville Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Ferguson & Speer Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Reuter officiating. Burial will be in the New Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ferguson & Speer Funeral Home after noon Sunday.
