DAILY TIMES-MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, MAY 20, 1959 RAINEY RITES HELD AT CHURCH Final rites for Franklin Rainey of Bedford R. R 1, were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Heltonville Baptist Church with Rev. James Stevens, pastor of the church, officiating. Mr. Rainey passed away at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at his residence. Mrs. Betty Todd and Miss Wanda Utterback sang "Precious Memories" and "Beyond The Sunset", accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Beryl White. In charge of flowers were Judy K. Rainey, Phyllis Curren, Drenda Curren, Della Rose Sproles, Wilma Rainey, Georgia Lee Mitchell, Patty Woody and Martha Rainey. Pallbearers were Charles Pendley, Ronald Rainey, Robert D. Woody, Joe Rainey, Bill Rainey and Larry Baker. Burial will be in the Gilgal Cemetery under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary. NOTE: Franklin Rainey: 6 Nov 1910 – 16 May 1959.
