TIMES MAIL, BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 1983 Elizabeth J. Gracey, 84, 3414 Washington Ave. formerly of 429 M St., Bedford. died a 5:26 a.m. today at Dunn Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years. She was born Sept. 6 1898 in Little Bull Head, Manitoba, Canada, to John Thomas and Grace Ann Matheson Calder, She married Laurence J. Gracey Nov. 20, 1926, and he died April 28, 1980. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and Eastern Star Chapter 129. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Carol) Reistier, Bedford; one son, John Gracey, Portsmouth, R. l. five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Mrs. Victoria Mckenzie. Selkirk, Manitoba, and Mrs. Kay Hovck, Lemon Grove, Calif. She was preceded in death by one son Laurence E. Gracey, and eight brothers and sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. John's Episcopal Church Father Robert Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Day & Carter Mortuary from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to service time.
