TIMES MAIL, BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 1983 Alva Earl Porter, 68, 1202 S. Madison St., Bloomington, died Wednesday afternoon at Bloomington Convalescent Center. He was born Oct. 5, 1914 in Bloomington, to Emanuel and Minnie Terrell Porter. He was a retired employee of Harold Becker Company and a member of Broadview Bible Tabernacle. Survivors include his wife; Pauline Robertson Porter; three daughters, Janet Landreth, Springville, Joyce Clark, Lakeland, Fla., and Brenda Kenyon, Dayton, Ohio; four sons, Charles Porter, Ocala, Fla., Kenny Porter, Dayton, Ohio, Robert Porter, Genoa, Ill., and Leroy Porter, Bloomington; one stepdaughter, Bernice Littrell, Bloomington; two stepsons, Robert and Jack Kee, both of Bloomington; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and 10 step- grandchildren. Services will be at l0 a.m. Saturday at Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington, the Rev. Fred Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
