TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA DECEMBER 15, 1983 Osa M. Ballard, 86, Mitchell Manor, formerly of 219 W. Main St., Mitchell, died at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday at the Orange County Hospital in Paoli. She was born in Alfordsville May 10, 1897. She married Raymond Ballard and he died Jan. 26, 1961. She was a member of First Christian Church in Mitchell. Surviving are two sons, Wilbur Ballard, Overland Park, Kans., and Ralph Ballard, Mountain View Calif.; two daughters, Evelyn Ballard, Detroit, Mich., and Cledia Hillard, Callensburg. Pa.; five grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell, the Rev. Wayne Haun officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
