    3. DAILY TIMES-MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1959 S. HOLLARS SUCCUMBS Samuel David Hollars passed away at 2:15 a.m. Sunday at his residence on Springville, R. R. 2. He was 82. Mr. Hollars, a retired laborer, had been ill for nine years. He was born in Wayne County, Ky., March 4, 1877, to Daniel and Mary Hollars. He was married in 1922 to Emma Sullivan, who survives. Other survivors include two sons Leonas and Albert of Florida, one daughter, Angie Beck of Warsaw, Indiana, four grandchildren, one stepson, Jesse Silvers of New Castle, Indiana, two brothers Albert Hollars of Springville and Joe Hollars of South Bend, Indiana, and one sister, Mary Perkins of Spencer, Indiana. The deceased attended the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church where funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday Rev. Lionel Robertson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at any time at the Day & Carter Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements. The remains will lie in state at the church from 9:30 a.m Tuesday until the funeral hour. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 1959 HOLD RITES FOR SAMUEL HOLLARS Final rites for Samuel David Hollars, Springville, R. R. 2, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church with Rev. Lionel Robertson officiating. Mr. Hollars died at 2:15 a.m. Sunday at his residence. "Beyond the Sunset", "Precious Memories" and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" were sung by Alma Phillips, Wanda Thompson, Jeana Thompson, Deloris Thompson and Charlene Jones. They were accompanied by pianist Mrs. Violet Fields. In charge of flowers were Cozetta Eads, Mary Hollars, Sue Hollars, Cloni Hollars, Virginia Hollars, Brenda Brown, Martha Phillips, Rose Etta Brown, Patsy Hollars and John Turpin. Pallbearers were Arter Thompson, Rathmel Thompson, Glen Phillips, Medford Godsey, Vernon Carson and Roy Thompson. Burial was in Bartlettsville Cemetery under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
