TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SEPTEMBER 17, 1984 Lola Chastain, 90, Mitchell Manor, formerly of R.2, Mitchell, died at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Orange County Hospital in Paoli. She was born Sept. 13, l894 in Orange County, to Emery and Cora Bell Tegarden Carr. She married Orville Chastain in 1914 and he died March 9, 1966. She attended Leipsic United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Herman H. Chastain, R. 3, Orleans four grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. One son, Harold, and one brother. preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell, the Rev. Dean Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be David Bailey, Carey Woods, David Chastain, Herman Chastain, Jr., and Hollace and Ronald Chastain.
