TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, MARCH 30, 1993 SPRINGVILLE - Harry G. Allen, 68, R. 2, Springville, died at 4:15 a.m. today at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born in Fort Ritner, he was the son of Ray and Bertha May (Gallion) Allen. He married Ruth Adkins Jan. 10, 1956, and she survives. He was a retired painter/ drywall hanger, a member of Life Tabernacle in Springville, and an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving with the wife are one daughter, Marcia Wade of Bedford; six stepchildren; three sisters: May Charles of Decatur, Ill., Betty Milligan and Shirley Staggs, both of Bedford; one brother, Jack Allen of Bedford; two grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; several step- grandchildren and step-great grandchild He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Theodore Allen and Arvie Allen. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Life Tabernacle in Springville, with Bro. Stanley Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be accorded by American Legion Gillen Post 33. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at Day & Carter Mortuary, and from noon until the service Thursday at the church.
