Daily Times Mail Bedford, Indiana Thursday, Oct. 15, 1959 Decie N. Miller Dies Decie N. Miller, a former resident of Oolitic passed away at 9:20 a.m. today at a local nursing home. She was 86. Mrs. Miller had been in failing health since July, 1958. She was born December 1, 1872, in Lawrence County, the daughter of William and Susan Kern Harris. She was first married to Charles Nickless, who preceded her in death. Her second marriage was to Sylvester Miller, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Herschel Nickless of Oolitic; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Mitchell of Bedford, 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The deceased was a member of the Oolitic Pentecostal Church. Final rites will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary, with burial in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
