TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 1991 SPRINGVILLE - Luther V. May, 76, R. 2, Springville, died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Bedford Medical Center. Born in Monroe County and formerly of Paynetown, he was the son of Mallie May and Martha Wilkerson. He married Eunice Shepherd Feb. 27, 1940 and she survives. He was a farmer and of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving with the wife are one daughter Mary Jane Young, Bed ford; five sons: James L. May, Sterling, Colo., Cecil W. May, Colorado Springs, Colo., Roger L. May, David L. May and Henry E. May all of Springville; 18 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one brother Marvin E. May, Springville. He was preceded in death by one sister Alta Rogers and five brothers: Alva, Delbert, Denny, Melvin and Lester May. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Ray Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Saturday until the service
