TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, SEPT. 4, 1979 CHARLES F. WOODY Charles F. Woody, 72, R. 1, Shoals, died at 5:50 p.m. Saturday at Jasper Memorial Hospital after a three-week illness. Born Sept. 25, 1906, in Martin County to Baney and Della Holt Woody, he married Audrey Gray in 1928, and she survives. Mr. Woody retired from the B. & O. Railroad and was presently employed at the Baker Feed Hill in Shoals. Surviving are two sons, Charles of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jerry D. of Loogootee, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Phyllis) Wallace of Creston, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Harry and Marvin Woody, both of Paris, Ill., and Ray Woody, R. 3, Shoals. Two daughters preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shoals. Funeral services will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shoals, at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Kenneth Betz officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today at Queen-Lee Funeral Home, Shoals. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
