TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20, 1983 Nolan D. Hert, 63, R. 2, Springville, died suddenly at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the residence. He was born April 17, 1920, in Martin County, Ind., to Marlin J. and Nellie Crane Hert. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Worth (Luella) Pearson, and Mrs. James (Joanne) May, both of Springville, and Mrs. Charles (Kathleen) Mitchell, Edinburg. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served three years, and a farmer most of his life. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, the Rev. Merla Craig officiating. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. Friday until the service hour.
