TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA TUESDAY, AUGUST 1, 1995 ORLEANS - Kenneth R. Passmore, 60, R.3, Orleans, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born in Lawrence County, he was the son of James and Lavina (Tincher) Passmore. He married Lorraine Pacheco Nov. 9, 1963 and she survives. He was a Navy Veteran. He retired from the Navy in 1974 and from Carpenter Body Works in 1989. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post 250 and Marvin L Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9107. Surviving with his wife are one son, James Passmore of R.3, Orleans; his mother of R.2, Orleans; five brothers: Don Passmore of Orleans, Charles and Roy Passmore of R.2, Orleans, Ron and Larry Passmore of Mitchell; four sisters: Wilma Conley of Loveland, Ohio, Evelyn Newport of Clay City, Mary Brewer of Mitchell and Vicki Garrison of Muncie, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Haverly Mortuary, Mitchell, with the Rev. Dale Hatfield officiating Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, with graveside Military rites accorded by Cecil C. Martin American Legion Post 250 and Marvin R. Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9107. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until the service Thursday.
