TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 15, 1979 Cora H. DeFore, R. 1, Springville, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bloomington Hospital. She was 84. She was born on Sept. 1, 1896, In Lawrence County to William and Alice Thomas Hart [Hert] . She married Martin R. DeFore on Dec. 24,1940 and he survives. She was a retired school teacher, a member of Hillcrest Christian Church, and a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She taught in local schools. Other survivors include three brothers, John Hert of Marion, Ind., William Hert of Indianapolis and Ralph O. Hert of Bedford. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ferguson- Lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Merla Craig officiating. Burial will be In Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
