TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1996 William Oscar Blackwell, 85, of Bedford, died Thursday at Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born Dec. 17,1910, in Lawrence County, he was the son of William Blackwell. He was a retired farmer, an Army veteran and member of Hillcrest Christian Church. Survivors Include his wife, Florence Elsie Blackwell one stepson, Charles Baxter of Williams; three brothers, Wayne Blackwell of Oolitic, Morris Blackwell of Bloomington and Norman Blackwell of Bedford; two step-grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Services will be 11 am. Monday at Day and Carter Mortuary in Bedford with Bob Muncy and Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will be at Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call 2-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
