TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MARCH 7, 1984 Francis J. "Curley" Allen, 85, formerly of Norman, died at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at Miller's Merry Manor in Hope, Ind. He was born Nov. 8, 1898 in Owen County to David and Avis Hickman Allen. He married Flossie Mullens who died in 1982. He was a retired railroad employee, a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include two daughters, Beulah Rausch, of Tenn., and Elaine Clark, Columbus: one son, Forrest Allen, Hope. two sisters. Ruby Spicer and Pauline Hill, both of Bedford. Nine grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope, with Rev. Phil Siefert officiating. Burial will be in Moravian Cemetery in Hope. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 pm. Thursday.
