TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, JUNE 26, 1989 CAMPBELLSBURG - Lois E. Denton, 60, R. 1, Campbellsburg, died at 5:08 p.m. Sunday at her residence. She was born Dec. 21, 1928, in Washington County, to Grant and Opal Stephenson Chastain. She married William F. Denton Aug. 31, 1947, and he survives. She was a member of Carters Creek Christian Church, Campbellsburg Home Economics Club, and a former member of "Sweet Adeline" Surviving with her husband are two sons; Eugene Denton, R. 1, Campbellsburg, and Larry Denton, Granger, Ind.; one daughter, Cheryl Lee Trinkle, R. 2, Campbellsburg. and four grandchildren; her father and stepmother; Grant and Bernice Chastain, Paoli two sisters: Peggy Knapp, Salem, and Judy Lanman, Huntingburg; four brothers: Elmo Chastain, R. 3, Mitchell, Dr. Leonard Chastain, Salem, Dr. James Chastain, Indianapolis, and Melvin Chastain, Seymour. She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carter's Creek Christian Church, Bro. Mike Wall and Bro. William Steadman officiating. Burial will be In Saltillo Cemetery. Friends may call at Chastain Funeral Home in Campbellsburg from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, from 9 a.m. ,to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and at the church from 1:30 p.m. Wednesday until the service.
