TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA AUGUST 1, 1983 Arnold F. Silvers, 39, R. 1, Springville, died at 2:50 p.m. Saturday at I. U. Medical Center In Indianapolis. He had been ill four months. He was born Aug. 10,1943 In Pulaski County, Ky., to Luther and Alice Thomas Silvers He married Vicki Kidd May 30, 1964, and she survives. He was employed at Ford Motor Company in Ohio, a member of United Auto Workers, and Springville Community Church. Surviving with the wife are three sons Kevin, Kirby and Kerry, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Josephine) VanHoose, Loraine, Ohio, Mrs. Walter (Lois) Podlich, Oberlin, Ohio, and Mrs. Ray (Ella Mae) Todd, Amherst, Ohio; two brothers, Ronald, Elyria, Ohio, and Jack, of Leesville. He was preceded in death by five brothers James, Homer, Junior, Warren Eugene, and Raymond. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Springville Community Church, the Rev. Kenneth Ransom and Rev. Phil Flynn officiating. Burial will be in Springville Methodist Cemetery. Friends may call at the Springville Community Church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until service time. Friends are asked to consider memorials to the Springville Christian Youth Center, in care of Rev. Kenneth Ransom, Avoca, Ind. Funeral arrangements were by Day & Carter Mortuary
