BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA DECEMBER 21, 1934 DEATH CLAIMS WILLIAM GRAY Funeral Services Sunday At 2 p.m. From Springville Methodist Episcopal Church William Hamilton Gray, Lawrence county farmer, who has been in failing health for the past four years, passed away Thursday night at 8 o'clock at his home, one mile north of Springville. Following death the body was removed to Day & Carter funeral home for burial preparation and today was returned to the home to remain until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Springville Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Harry T. Bridwell of Clear Creek officiating. Burial will be made in the Springville Methodist Cemetery. The deceased was born on August 10, 1864 near Springville to Hamilton and Isabell Bridwell Gray and at the time of his death was 70 years, 4 months and 10 days old. He was married on December 9, 1885 to Sylvia Dye who survives him. Mr. Gray was a member of the Springville Methodist Episcopal Church and the Oolitic Modern Woodmen Lodge. Besides the widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert Armstrong ! and Mrs. William Pearson both of near Springville; two brothers E. G. and Thad Gray both of Bedford; one sister Mrs. Mary E. Lowder of Morrisville, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
