TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1996 Paul Houchin, 89, of Bloomington, formerly of Mitchell, died Saturday at Fontanbleu Nursing and Rehab Center. Born Dec. 27, 1906, In Brownsville, Ky., he was the son of Andrew and Ruby Frances (Roof) Houchin. He was a retired cement mason and member of Minerva Masonic Lodge 98 at Miamisburg, Ohio. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Terrell of Bloomington and Frances Mesarosh of Dayton, Ohio; four sisters, Lula Grogan and Maxine Taflinger, both of Mitchell, Wanda Stigall of Oolitic and Clorine Sanders of Ellettsville two brothers, Earl E Houchin and Max Houchin, both of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife. Jewel (Jeffries) Houchin, three brothers, one sister and one grandson. Services will be l p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home in Mitchell with the Rev. Glenn Hamer officiating. Burial will be at Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call 2- 8:30 p.m. Monday and from 11 am. until services Tuesday at the funeral home where Masonic memorial services will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Monday.
