DAILY TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, JANUARY 18, 1982 George O. Wray, 62, of 602 South West Fifth St., Washington, Ind., died at 3:40 a.m. Sunday at the West Tenth Street Veterans Hospital in Indianapolis. He had been ill six weeks. Mr. Wray, who was retired, was born in Lawrence County October 24, 1919, to Odus and Lillian Hayes Wray. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, and a disabled American war veteran of World War II He was a staff sergeant during World War II, flying 34 bombing missions over Germany as a waist gunner on a B-24 Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Fred (Pauline) Peed of Washington, Mrs. Fred (Esther) Lee of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. John (Edith) Kimbley of Buddha, and Mrs. Rufus (Janette) McGlothlin of Bloomington; and two brothers, Joe and Frank Wray, both of New Braunfels, Texas. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Cooper in charge. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
