TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA MONDAY, JULY 9, 1984 Wilma B. Umphress, 48, 3910 Walnut St., Bloomington, died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday at the Bloomington Hospital following a brief illness. She was born Dec. 29, 1935 in Lawrence County to Harley and Mildred Allen Umphress. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Bedford. Surviving is a son, James Umphress, Bedford; two daughters: Kathy Walt, Orlando, Fla., and Cynthia Fender, Heltonville; three grandchildren; and two brothers: James E. and Opal (Bud) Umphress, both of Bloomington. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul L. Hoskins officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. today at the funeral home and until the service time Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Tracy Blackwell, Kenneth Blackwell, Mark Umphress, David Umphress, Kevin Fender and Eric Umphress.
