BEDFORD DAILY TIMES BEDFORD, INDIANA DECEMBER 28, 1931 ARMSTRONG BODY ARRIVED TODAY Funeral Services To Be Held At Springville Christian Church Tuesday Funeral services for Walter J. Armstrong, who passed away last Wednesday night in the Sante Fe Hospital in Los Angeles, Cal., following a three day illness with cerebral hemorrhage, will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Springville Christian Church with the Rev. Barry T. Bridwell, of Clear Creek officiating. Burial will be made in the Methodist Cemetery in Springville. The remains arrived here this morning at 4:01 o'clock, over the Monon railroad and were taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Carrie Evans in Springville, where they will remain until the funeral hour. The deceased was born on November 29, 1880, in Springville to Winchester and Mary Frances Armstrong and at the time of his death was 51 years and 24 days old. He was never married. Mr. Armstrong was employed as auditor by the Santa Fe railroad. He was a member of the Springville Christian Church. He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. George Robinson, Mrs. William Hammard [Hammond], Mrs. Carrie V. Evans, an! d Mrs. Blanche Thompson, all of Springville; two brothers, Frank T. Armstrong; residing in the west, and Quince Armstrong of Springville.
