TIMES MAIL, BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, APRIL 7, 1982 Nellie C. Hert, 83, R. 2, Springville, died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Bloomington Convalescent Center at Bloomington. She had been seriously ill for six months. She was born Jan. 19, 1899, in Martin County, to Grant and Elizabeth Anne Sargent Crane. She married Marlin Hert on March 27, 1918, and he died Dec 11, 1959. Surviving are one son, Nolan Hert, Springville; three daughters, Mrs. Worth (Luella) Pearson, and Mrs. James (Joanne) May, Springville, Mrs. Charles (Kathaleen) Mitchell, Edinburg, Ind.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Denver Webster, Williams, and Mrs. Lucille Harp, Bloomington. She was preceded in death by a grandson, three brothers, and three sisters. She was a former member of the Mountain Springs Church of Christ and in later years the Springville Methodist Church. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Ted Morgan officiating. Burial will be in the Springville Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday and until noon Friday.
