TIMES MAIL, BEDFORD, INDIANA THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 1983 Orpha B. Stegner, 95, R. 1 Medora, died at 10:10 p.m. Tuesday at the residence. She had been ill several weeks. She was born Dec. 17, 1887 in Sparksville, to James W. and Roselba Beem Starr. She was married Dec. 21, 1910 in Sparksville, to Walter W. Stegner, who died Sept. 23, 1960. Surviving are one son, Durland Stegner, Gulf Port, Miss., and one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Nicholson, R. 1, Medora seven grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. One son, one daughter and three brothers are deceased. She was a member of the Medora Christian Church. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hague Funeral Home in Medora, the Rev. Stan Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Leesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
