TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 1981 Bessie Marie Baughman, 85, 1154 Centenary Rd., Mooresville, Ind., died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at the Morgan County Hospital in Martinsville. Born Feb 21, 1896 in Springville, she was the daughter of Kern and Lizzie (Giles) Armstrong. She was married to J.C. Baughman in 1916, and he survives. Also surviving are three sons, Ernest, Martinsville; Joe and Bill, both of Brookland, Ind.; one daughter, Elizabeth Kinder Logansport; one sister, Mrs. Ione Walker, Bedford five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a retired Latin teacher in Helmsburg and a member of the Christian Church. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. at the Neal & Summers Funeral Home in Martinsville with Dr. Robert White officiating. Graveside rites will be held at 3 p.m., Friday at the Springville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday until the funeral hour. The family asks that memorial contributions be given to the heart association and the cancer fund.
