BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, MARCH 7, 1902 OBITUARY Mrs. Margaret Kramer died in Bedford, Ind., Feb. 21, 1902 at the home of her son-in-law, Harry G. Neff, in the sixty-second year of her age, after a somewhat protracted sickness, patiently borne during the last few weeks of which she was confined to her bed. And on the following Sabbath afternoon the funeral was held at the Presbyterian church conducted by Rev. A. M. Irvine, and was attended by a large company of friends and acquaintances, after which the interment was at Green Hill. Mrs. Kramer was born in Germany Oct. 13, 1840, coming to this country early in life with her parents, who settled at Louisville, Ky., later coming to Bedford. She was married to Chas. Kramer Dec. 27, 1858, he having died in Bedford May 7, 1889. To them were born five children two of whom died in infancy. The three surviving, Mrs. Tyre Bowman, Mrs. Harry G. Neff, and Carl Kramer being residents of Bedford. Mrs. Kramer belonged to the older class of Germans of Bedford, and was not lacking in the better elements that characterize that sturdy people, being held in high esteem in the community. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Bedford, having held membership there for a number of years, and knew the comforts of the Christian religion in her closing days, which were marked by patience and a simple faith. And while there is the sense of loss and loneliness in the family circle thus broken into especially, yet she has not been taken away without leaving behind the comfort of Christian hope, while those bereaved, have also the help that inheres in human sympathy. ************ CIRCUIT COURT NOTES.
