BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, FEB. 21, 1902 Paoli, Ind., Feb. 17. – Van R. Nobitt, who lived at Orangeville, five miles northwest of here, died last night of the grip and old age. He was one of the oldest citizens in this county, and perhaps the largest individual taxpayer in the county. He was born in Grayson county, Va., March 10, 1813, and came to Indian in 1922. His estate is said to be worth $100,000.
