BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, FEB. 28, 1902 Washington, Ind., Feb. 21 - *rdatt Humphreys, a son of Traveling Engineer Ennis Humphreys was given charge of a freight car that had been "kicked" into a side track at the Baltimore & Ohio Southwestern shops at midnight last night, and when seen an hour later he was pinioned to the track by a car wheel and was dead. It was supposed he had gone to lunch and no search was made until he failed to show up. Then his body was found. It is believed he slipped from the car on account of the sleet, and falling to the track was killed.
