BEDFORD MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, DEC. 6, 1901 Matthew Donahue died at Mitchell Sunday morning of paralysis. He was a brother of B. & O. Agent Thomas Donahue, of this city, and "Duffy" Donahue, B. & O. Ticket Agent at Washington, Ind., well known here. Matthew Donahue was an expert telegraph operator, and was employed in Cincinnati. The funeral took place Tuesday forenoon, at Mitchell. ********* Among those who went to Mitchell Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mat Donahue were Mrs. Hugh McGuire, Mrs. P. F. Fitzgibbons, Misses Mamie Murphy, Stacy Burke and Emma Heitger.
