    3. Bedford Daily Times, Bedford, Indiana Wednesday, September 6, 1939 DEATH CLAIMS HESTER WHITE Funeral Arranged For 2 P.M. Friday At Mountain Springs Church Of Christ Mrs. Hester Anne Crane White, wife of Thomas B. White, native and lifelong resident of Martin county, passed away at 4:25 pm. Tuesday at her home near Indian Springs following a four year's illness with complications. The remains were prepared for burial at the Everett Lehman funeral home in Owensburg and this forenoon were returned to the residence where they will lie in state until the funeral, arranged for 2 p.m. Friday at the Mountain Springs Church of Christ with Bishop Lewis of Shelbyville officiating. Burial will be made in the Modrel chapel cemetery. Mrs. White was born March 9, 1876. She was united in marriage with Thomas B. White, 46 years ago. She is survived, besides the husband, by four sons, Ira, Heltonville; James, Shelbyville; Martin, Richmond, and Lewis, Lyons; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Sipes and Mrs. Lois Riggs. Bedford; three brothers, William Crane, Indian Springs; Grant Crane, Martin county, and Charles Crane, Lawrence county; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Payton, Bedford, and Mrs. Rebecca Wagner, Clinton, and 18 grandchildren. She was a member of the Pentecost church.
