Times Mail Bedford, Indiana June 20, 1985 Carolyn Brown Carolyn (Mae) Jones Brown, 73, 921 Eighth St., Bedford, formerly of 2529 Donihue Dr. Bedford, died at 1:47 p.m. Wednesday at Dunn Memorial Hospital She had been Ill for several years. She was born Oct. 15, 1911, in Lawrence County, to Winfred and Alice Hornback George. She first married Otis Glenn Jones on Oct. 9, 1970 and he died Oct 23, 1980. She married Paul Brown Dec. 26, 1983, and he survives. She was a former member of the Southside Democrat Club of Indianapolis and a former precinct committeewoman of the 15th Ward, Precinct I of Indianapolis for six years. Surviving with the husband are one son, Harry Magers, Indianapolis, four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two stepsons, Jessie David Jones, R. 11, Bedford, and Burl Otis Jones, Salem, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Frances Jones, Salem, Ill. and Elizabeth Ann Jones, Salem, Ill; several step grandchildren, and step-great- grandchildren; three brothers, Harry George, Bedford, and Stanley and David George, both of R 19. Bedford, and one sister, Lilly Browning, Bedford. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Day & Carter Mortuary, Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Friday. Pallbearers will be Barry Magers, John Magers, Lane Magers and Dave Lions.
