    3. TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19, 1995 MILDRED MULLIS Oct. 14, 1906 - April 19, 1995 Mildred Mullis, 88, 712 W. St., Bedford, died at 2:34 a.m. today at Dunn Memorial Hospital in Bedford following a two-week illness. Born in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Minnie (McKee) McDowell. She married Everett Mullis July 7, 1928 and he died March 2, 1971. She was a homemaker and member of the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. She had assisted her husband in operating a huckster wagon business throughout Lawrence County. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Sue Taha of Princeton; two sons: Perry Mullis and Jerry Mullis, both of Bedford; one brother, Opal McDowell of Springville; two sisters: Alice Kirkman of Dothan, Ala., and Phyllis Vecchione of San Diego, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Free Methodist Church, Bedford, with Pastor Bob Carder officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Garden. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary from 2-9 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday.
