TIMES MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, FEB. 23, 1990 ELMER H. STEGEMOLLER INDIANAPOLIS Elmer H. (Penny) Stegemoller, 66, husband of Shoals native Maxine (Freeman) Stegemoller, died Tuesday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. He was a fuel oil delivery man for Crystal Flash and furnace repairman for Peerless Furnace, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Coast Guard in WWII, and a member of Eagle Creek Men's Golf Club, the Destroyer-Escort Sailors Association, and the national Asbestos Workers Local Union #18. He coached the Westlake Little League, and was a member of Eagledale Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Maxine; two sons: John Jeffrey Stegemoller and Phillip Paul Stegemoller; three brothers: Lee, Earl and Fred Stegemoller; two sisters: Helen Campbell and Betty Truax, and four grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Conkle Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Graveside service and burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Shoals. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Conkle-Lynhurst Chapel in Indianapolis.
