I am seeking information on the descendents of Walter Pulmer Buzzaird and Mary Browne who were married in Owen County (although the marriage is recorded in Monroe) on Dec. 15, 1898. They were both teachers, although at the time of the marriage he was the assistant superintendent of the Metropolitan Insurance Company at Bedford. I think he had at least one son, Orville Ernest, who married Ruth Grafton, reportedly from Bedford. They all went to Texas about 1940. Walter is the brother of my grandfather, Elmer Sherman Buzzaird. I have corresponded with another researcher in Texas, and we're pretty sure we're related. Now we just have to prove it. Are there birth records available in Bedford? If so, how can I access them?
