There is a Peter BAUFLE and family living in Lawrence Co., IN in 1880 per the LDS Typed Census..........E.D. 3, Page 6-B, Guthrie TWP, Village of Tunnelton.......... Also..... I checked the new 1870 Heritage Quest Census Indexes for Indiana and Illinois and there is not any BAUFLE's........ perhaps the census taker spelled it another way or the family was on the move at the time of the census..........
