Hi Abram Jones married Laura Bell Golden in Lawrence County in 1868. They had 2 children Lue Ina and Ralph R. According to Abram Jones pension records, he owned a saloon that was ransack by a mob and was shot in the leg. According to him because he was going to testify at the trial of another Jones who shot to death a Mr. Moody? I was wondering if there was anything in the newspapers about the incident, or the trial.
