Nancy, You may already have this info, but just in case. There was an Oscar F. Lotshaw that married a Susan Peterman on May 12, 1873 in Dearborn County, Indiana. An ancestral file that I saw on the Family search site lists Henry Peterman and Cynthia Ann Taylor as her parents.
