Looking for information regarding the death or grave site of Thomas Lightfoot REYNOLDS who supposedly died in 1830 in Lawrence County. Thomas was born 1762 in NC and married Nancy HENDERSON on Sep 23, 1818 in Blount Co, TN. Thomas was a farmer and possibly a surveyor. Children of Thomas and Nancy: Jonathan Henderson, Christopher, Jacob, Mary, Samuel, Catherine, and Robert. Robert REYNOLDS, my gg-grandfather was born Feb 1, 1828 Lawrence Co, IN, died Oct 7, 1886 Guthrie Co, IA, married Leanna HOOPINGARNER Mar 15, 1849 in Lawrence Co. After Thomas died, Nancy married William GUTHRIE, and William died a year and a half later. The 1850 Lawrence Co, IN census shows Nancy as head of household with Jonathan, Robert, Leanna. In 1855, Nancy moved the family, along with several other families from Lawrence Co. to Guthrie Co, IA. The 1860 Guthrie Co, IA census shows Nancy Guthrie (age 66) living in household of Robert REYNOLDS and Leanna, along with Jonathan.
